Tag Heuer Carrera Caliber 5 Day Date (war201a.ba0723): Hands on review and unboxing.
The Tag Heuer Carrera has been around now for almost 57 years and has become a staple of the Tag Heuer reign Due to its long-lived popularity. As we have talked over today, even the more basic modern iterations are still a significant talking point and there is a lot more at play with this watch and meets the eye. Even for those that are less interested in how the watch plays with light, this watch still has a lot to offer

[Tag Heuer Carrera] Gift from my in-laws for finishing grad school.
Today I received this lovely Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 from my in-laws as a reward for completing my masters program. The only other watches that I own(ed) are: a Waltham mechanical I inherited from my grandpa, a Pulsar I also inherited, a Seiko SNZF17J1 that I traded for a Benchmade pocket knife, and a Citizen Eco-Drive I bought 2 years ago when I began grad school. This marks my first foray into luxury watches.
[SOTC] 6.25" wrist collection, size matters.
It has exhibition caseback and the mechanical movement is so well decorated. The dial is so simple, there's no second hand, but I find myself lost in the dial more than my other watches. Heuer Carrera 1964 re-edition CS3110 (1999): This watch is currently taking most of my wrist time. Being 36mm across the case, this watch feels so good on my wrist.

Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 01 - my first luxury watch. Probably going to go soon, it’s nice but I’m no longer head-over-heels like with the BB GMT. Oris Aquis Date 43.5 - yacht master vibes. Wanted the 41.5mm cherry dial but the lug to lug was too short and it sat funny on my wrist.

[Tag Heuer] After a very long time of wanting, I’ve finally got my first. I know Tag Heuer can be a controversial brand on this sub, and this particular model is probably a love or hate style, but I am over the moon. Thanks to this sub for all the knowledge and advice it’s given to me! Here’s to you
Today that changed, and I consider myself extremely lucky and thankful!. It’s a TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 01, 43mm. I have been looking at this watch through windows for so long and I am so happy I’ve finally got one of my own.
[Omega + Tag Heuer] 1960s Watch + 1960s-ish Watch
565 166.002 from 1966. On the left, a Tag Heuer Carrera 1964 Re-Edition CS3111 from 1996. Even though they are very different watches (dress vs. chronograph), they're both very identifiably from the 60s in design, with their small size (34mm vs. 36mm), domed acrylic crystals, stick hands, etc. Two of my favorite watches from my collection.
[SOTC] Watch Box Finished, It's Finally Full!
Something I feel like I could wear whilst repairing a car without a worry!. **Tag Heuer Carrera Green Special Edition:** This is my most recent acquisition and a watch I wasn't aware of when it first launched in 2021.

I was fixated on getting a Tag Heuer Carrera and was dreaming about it for weeks!. Finally my friend and I went to the boutique we frequented, at which point I was very ready to snag the Tag, this beauty of a watch just caught my eye from afar. I put it on, fell in love with how it looked and how absolutely gorgeous it is in its simplicity.

[SOTC] First post! Finally have time to write in quarantine
**Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer 01:** When I first got into watches, I was really fascinated by skeleton chronographs, though my taste has shifted away since. While this is a beautiful piece (and it goes really well with streetwear haha), I've come to admit that this is just too big for my wrist. Might be looking to trade/sell this piece if possible (for a Monaco or Autavia). 6.

Tag Heuer Carrera 16 Heritage Chronograph - I like this but very rarely wear it. The dial is very pretty with the guilloche, and it’s certainly a very robust watch, but I’ll probably sell it it the near future to make room for something else.
