[SOTC] Aquaracer, Casioak, and Glock 19
The Aquaracer was my first “expensive” watch. It’s been two and a half years since purchased and I wear it most days. Hasn’t skipped a beat , and is very accurate at about +2 seconds a day. It’s been on the boat and in the saltwater as well as sitting behind a keyboard.
[Omega] Picked up this wedding gift to myself.
Since then, i've picked up a Tag Heuer Aquaracer a few years ago while on a cruise with my fiancé and it's been my daily work horse since. It was my first "expensive" watch. I've always loved Omega watches for various reasons, and now that i'm older and have a bit more expendable income, when i saw the redesigned Aquaterra with the new teak deck styled dial i knew i had to own one. So to celebrate my wedding with a gift of a goal watch, i thought would be perfect.
[SOTC] Budget and a hand-me-down
1. TAG Heuer Aquaracer: This was a hand-me-down from my dad after he got a Seamaster. I know TAG is divisive these days but my dad wore this for 10 something years and now it's my turn to add some scratches so it's very sentimental to me.
[Omega] Found my new daily!
I've been wearing a Tag Aquaracer (first on the bracelet, then moved it to rubber) for the last several years. It's been a really great watch, and the sentimental value it holds means it will never leave my collection. That being said, the ETA movement inside was just a bit less accurate than I would have liked it to be (some days I was losing almost 30 seconds even after actively wearing it for 16+ hours) and the power reserve meant I could really only go one day without wearing it before having to reset it.
