In summary, the Yojimbo 2 has been a very interesting experience for me.

Michael Janich designed the yojimbo 2 and ronin 2 specifically for self defense so u can chose between folder or fixed blade they also make trainers but they are same price as the sharp version

Yojimbo 2 was the last knife I've bought and it's basically my end game. The compression lock is so good compare to those titanium frame lock, slip joint, axis lock, etc.. so far. I haven't tried all the lock but this knife made me not care to try any more because it's good enough. The thing was the clip was a hot spot for me, bought a cheapie deep carry clip and the hot spot was gone.

Pros; This is the sharpest knife out of my 20 plus knife collection. Lock up is perfect, fit and finish perfect. Blade is perfectly centered. Beautiful blade, and looks awesome. Knife with a straight edge like Kansept Main Street or spyderco Yojimbo depending on your budget. Spyderco also sell a trainer for the yojimbo. So he can take it to knife classes.
