I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. It feels well made I like the metal push button on the tail 

My Convoy S2+ finally arrived...I love it.

 With quick reacting, I yelled at the would be intruder and as he turned around I activated the turbo setting and immediately aimed it toward his face, to which he responded by immediately hiding his face with his hoodie. For fear that he may have had a weapon on him, I continued to shine the turbo onto him so as he would not have visual confirmation on me. As he left my front door he attempted to break into another building across the street to which, acting out of pure adrenaline I chased him across the street and this time activated the strobe light causing him to abandon his attempt and fled, still covering his face with his hood as he could not function with the strobe on him. Several other events occurred after this, but they would be irrelevant to this review

  Tonight, as I was returning home from on my nightly walks, I came across an individual who under some sort of influence, attempting to break into my apartment building's front door. I did not carry any of my usual EDCs with me as I only left for a few minutes to get some fresh air, but I always carry my Olight SR2 no matter the time of day or occasion.  In closing, in a pinch, with no other tools available, this light CAN save your life! My anecdote of today is proof of that! THANK YOU Olight for an amazing product! Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family! They will not go wrong with this awesome light!

I absolutely love the size! This small light is very durable and the magnet is strong. Unfortunately the one I purchased the battery didn't last long. Only other negative I have is I wish they would incorporate a power button on the bottom. (I used it for a night fire drill and the small power on the side was annoying)

BLF LT1 Lantern Review (Variable tint, 90 CRI, Insane Long ...

 Today I have a specialty light with the BLF LT1 lantern. It was designed by

 forum members at the budget light forums and manufactured by Sofren. The BLF LT1

 started three years ago as an offshoot of the Q8 that I have reviewed

 previously here and you can see the two share some physical resemblances. Forget

 other battery-powered lanterns that you've seen in the past, this one really

 puts them all to shame. This will probably end up being a little bit

 longer review so sit back and enjoy. It's not like any lantern you've seen before.

 I really appreciate your support liking these videos and hoping that everyone is

 staying safe and healthy during COVID-19. With the new normal you might need a

 solid light for when the power goes out during storm season or for camping

 season when it eventually comes. Catch me on any of the major social media

 platforms in the links with the description below and now back to the

 review. Packaging that the LT1 comes in is very basic it's just this brown

 cardboard box. No money was wasted here. Inside you get a card from Sofren

 letting them know if you have any questions or problems with the light.

 Remember to take the stickers off the bottom of the batteries. This is really

 important. Your light won't work without it. It's not an effective light. You just

 have to remember to remove those stickers. Bag of extras, some extra o-rings.

 You get an o-ring here, an orange o-ring that I put around the top of light that

 seems to be popular to do just add a little bit more style and color and then

 you get a manual here and this is a really good manual. It's got great

 English and it's very detailed. Most importantly it contains a UI diagram

 here for the version of Andrel that this light is running. This is a little bit

 different from other versions of Andrel so make sure you take a look. I also have

 a PDF link to where you can get this online that's not quite as squished and

 a little bit bigger and easier to see. My light was the kit version and came with

 four Sofren 18650 3000 milliamp hour batteries and as I mentioned they had a

 sticker on the negative terminal here that you've got to peel off. These are

 button top batteries and that is what's recommended in this light and it also

 came with a USB-C to USB-A cable for recharging. This light is made from

 anodized aluminum and the bottom half here is the battery carrier. Overall it's

 very similar to the Q8 in design although it doesn't have flats milled in

 here. This bottom cap is removable and it does say who was the designer there on

 BLF. This is kind of a one-man design which is kind of neat. You've got a

 quarter turn 20 in the bottom half then you've got another quarter turn 20 on

 the side here. These both make great mounting options. The

 knurling here is good, milled out areas. Next you've got the silicon button here
