Shimano Saguaro

I cannot say enough good things about the shimano slx. Smooth, easy to handle, and very versatile. As for rods I would recommend a Jacob wheeler series duckett rod or a diawa tatula. Good luck

i got this rod expecting a medium action and got one with heavy action. this is no bass rod,but could be used for catfishing i guess. butt end is too long, making a 7-footer feel like a 6-footer.

The shimano spheros is really good for the $200 range and is ipx 8 rated, meaning it's shielded and solid af. Also has the loudest clicker out of all the spinning reels I've seen or used.

Was looking for a 9 foot rod as an addition to my surf set up to be able to throw plugs when the Tarpon are running. This works very well for what I intended it for! I'll let you know how it performs after catching one of those illusive monsters!

The first time casting a spoon and the top guide eye came out from the metal guide frame. Nice rod but wasn't expecting the guide eye to break that easy.
