**Seiko Turtle SRP777**: My watch to go mountain sports. I love its look, its lines, its solidity, its readability, even its precision. I like to wear a mechanical watch during my mountaineering outings, and I think it fulfils this role perfectly.

For reference, I've owned an SKX007, SRP777 and an SNJ025 which are mostly considered entry level. While this isn't a luxury piece it's my first watch at this price point, and I can see a marked difference in its quality. The bezel action is *sublime* and has a very nice almost dampened feel when you move it. Not the thin clickety-clack of the SRP and SNJ.

Seiko can give you a good quality watch with thoughtful design at all price points. I think that’s really great. Also, I love the SRP777. Something about it just makes me say that’s cool.

Hello, my SRP777 is running fast and distorts a compass's direction when I place the watch beside or on top of the compass. I mean, I know it's probably magnetized and I have already placed an order for a demagnetizer, but for fun I thought to test other metal objects that have no business being magnetized, and the compass also turns to them.
