My first soundbar ever - positively suprised!

So made an order, stick it underneath my 65” LG and my god I am pleasantly suprised! Allthough the subwoofer is quite poorly placed (as that is the only place I can fit it) the Samsung Q910A still manages to make a fully immersive soundstage, way beyond the one my NAD M10v2 / Powernode combo does.

Are rear speakers worth it?

i have the Q900A and i got the satellite SWA9500S they made a huge difference in the overall surround sound experience, highly suggested

Wifi ? Sort of, sound quality is great but wifi connectivity requires phones to be present

I have had many issues with this soundbar. Initially I had a problem connecting to Amazon music and having it play properly. The sound would cut out every minute or so. I ended up streaming to it via Bluetooth but that is problematic as every time I turned out the TV it would break the BT connection...

Bose soundbar 900 owner coming from 700 model

To me personally the Samsung Q900A is much better as I find the Bose to sound muffled at Low volumes. However the Bass Module is the part I love. It gives me theater quality sound at home, I don’t just hear the thunder in the movie, I feel it too.

Another Soundbar High Ceilings Post, But It's not what you think I Swear.

Note that if you get Samsung Q900A you will only get the 9.1.2 enabled soundbar and sub. 950A just comes with bundled speakers (I forgot their model), they connect with the primary bar to make it an 11.1.4 setup. More than height, you will benefit from wider soundstage. In my living room I can feel the 3.1 making a difference even if so slightly.

Good surround but FYI

Purchased and returned 3 surround systems (1 JBL, 1 Samsung different model and another Samsung same model). Learned some things. I have a standard “old TV” (maybe 5 years now). I just got the Samsung HW-Q900A now and I’ve to say the Q900A is much louder than the A7000. So A7000 sounds at Vol 40 loud but the center channel is very quiet (I think it’s the center channel). I know you can use the speakers of a Sony TV as center channels.
