I'm looking for an Atmos soundbar and I think I might go for the Samsung Q900A because I don't want the satellite speakers (small apartment). The new Sony HT-A7000 seem amazing but a little out of budget for now.

Another Soundbar High Ceilings Post, But It's not what you think I Swear.

Note that if you get Samsung Q900A you will only get the 9.1.2 enabled soundbar and sub. 950A just comes with bundled speakers (I forgot their model), they connect with the primary bar to make it an 11.1.4 setup. More than height, you will benefit from wider soundstage. In my living room I can feel the 3.1 making a difference even if so slightly.

I recently bought a Samsung HW-Q900A soundbar which is fantastic so far. My only issues is the separate 9500S rear speakers I bought aren't producing any sound besides if I run in stereo mode. I'm not sure what the issue is with these speakers. I can't even adjust the volume on them as neither the soundbar remote nor the smart things app gives me an option to adjust them.

Bass enhancement

adaptive mode broke after the latest firmware update. channels not receiving the proper audio. it did fix the bass enhancement issues the rear surround speakers do work with enhancement features on which is great but please fix the adaptive mode bug.

Does the Sonos Arc work with Samsung Q-Symphony? (Featured on QN90)

But that oomph is really not something to look forward to, or something that makes a ton of difference. You'd be better off spending money on a nice soundbar than just cheaping out for Q-Symphony. Pricing wise Sonos Arc is $999 CAD, and Samsung Q900A (no rear sattelite speakers, 7.1.2) is $1299 CAD.
