Yeah, I mean, I'm super impressed with this unit, especially for Samsung's first shot out of the gate.

While it seems to be WAY cheaper in the states... Even with that insane price tag I chose the LSP9T due to the reasons pointed out above haha.

Worked fine for 10 months with an average of 3hrs use per day, then today vertical lines appeared on the left hand side of the screen. Can't find out why online yet. It has been gently handled so I assume its a manufacturing issue. Problem seemed to fix itself after being off for 20 minutes.

After a year of use I started to get stuck pixels, the software has been glitchy resulting in things like auto shutoff not detecting that I'm watching something, and randomly one day it decided not to shut down and I had to just unplug it and restore to factory defaults. Customer service hasn't been great, but I am finally sending it back for maintenance (at my expense for shipping and possibly repairs depending on what they say).

Hooked up both on same wall and distance. Nothing was on lenses and was straight out of box. Returning this one to Samsung , keeping the other.

I myself have the Darkstar Elit for my Samsung LSP9T. Looks amazing.

This is probably one of the best UST projectors you can buy for $2,500 -$3,500. The picture quality is really good. It's also very quiet. The only issue was that I had to play with the settings and adjust the frame rate speed for watching sports. There was a bit of a blur when the players moved. Now...

My BenQ gave up the ghost last October, and I've been thinking about getting a UST. One of the things I'm lookinng for, in addition to picture quality, is a short throw distance, so that the projector doesn't take up too much space in my living room. I was really excited about the Samsung Premiere LSP9T, but Chris Majestic's YouTube video compared skin tones with reference material, and the Samsung looked just awful. I was also thinking of the Hisense 120L9G, but I'm not sure if it will be bright enough for my living room.
