 Occasionally it gets stuck places or lost but you can drive it back or physically move it. The top is a bit scratched up from its war under my couch but still works great.  It appears that the vacuum hit the vomit, sucked some up, lifted itself up on the wheels as to not drag anything around, and returned to its charging base without worsening the mess. I was able to take the vacuum apart and clean the vomit out (disgusting but doable). This could have been so much worse. How did the vacuum know exactly what to do? I was excited to try and review the POWERbot R7065 as part of the Insiders program. It's is getting a workout in our household with two large short hair dogs, who shed all year. It has good suction for dust, dirt, and dog hair, the capacity of the dust bin is good for one run, and it can be scheduled. The dust bunnies are caged, the edging is good, and it's getting under our higher furniture including the beds, which accumulate the dust and dog hair, but don't otherwise get vacuumed

 I’ve also popped the roller out to clean out accumulated dust and dirt already - after a week of daily use. It’s struggling with our area rugs - has difficulty making the transition to the large living room rug and folds up the sticky backed doorway rugs, and doesn't clean them that well, particularly leaving a dog hair trail at the edges. The unit also creates enough static to carry around a bunch of dust and dog hair stuck to it (pictured), which is mostly wiped off on the nearest lower hanging fabric (i.e

 It may work fine in a house with no pets, but pet hair certainly gives it a challenge.  What I like: - has good power when the inlet Ian my plugged - scheduling function works well - 3 modes for normal, turbo and quiet - Does a reasonably good job not ramming into furniture  What I don’t like: - Inlet to dust bin clogs constantly - Cat and human hair wraps around brush extensively…has to be cut off every week or so to not bog down the brush - Gets lost trying to find the charging station at least half the time…seems to need bright lighting to navigate consistently - when it gets lost and the battery dies, the clock gets off…results in the vacuum starting it’s 9 am schedule at 1 am waking up the whole house. You have to go into the app and just play around before it resets the clock.  For the price tag, this doesn’t quite live up to the billing

This is the only robotic vacuum that I’ve owned, so it is hard to tell what is specific to this one vs normal for all of them. The main issue for me is the design of the dust bin. The inlet is always getting plugged. We have 2 cats and a lot of hard surfaces

The bad: - Robot was set free in about 1200 square feet consisting of Kitchen, Dinning, Living rooms and two Bedrooms, but would always get lost until I closed off the two bedrooms. - Tabs that hold brush-assembly in place were pushed open by the carpet. - Could not sync with the SmartThings app even after several hours on the phone with customer care

Better off buying something else

 Appears to be built with quality, the components are solid and well made. It also appears to clean effectively although I do have a reservation mentioned later.  And the negatives: The advertised coverage map does not work. When I purchased the vacuum, both the manufacturers website and Amazon's product description advertised the coverage map, at some point soon after purchasing Samsung's site dropped the claim

 (and for those of you who will comment that the machine cannot be interrupted during a cleaning cycle or else it will not produce a map don't bother).  The vacuum would not clean the entire surface. Although this happened in other rooms it was most apparent in the Family Room and the Master BR where each had an architectural detail call a "Pan" ceiling. In the Family Room the vacuum would just miss a couple of wide sections from one side of the rood to the other

 My wife would gush "The house is so clean since we got it". I couldn't tell the difference. I resolve to vacuum manually more often and treat myself to $31 per month of fun with the money I save.

 And I am absolutely not willing to allow the factory in Vietnam to make movies of my house.  What I learned from our vacuum cleaner is that women have more sensitive dirt-detectors than men. My wife would gush "The house is so clean since we got it". I couldn't tell the difference

 One of the primary features which sold us is the "Shutter". It works exceptionally well & is ingenious. We have only seen 1 other brand with a square/ flat front, potentially capable of thoroughly cleaning along baseboards(where sooo much dust seems to accumulate since nobody ever sets foot there). Once shutter is engaged, vacuum speed is increased against baseboard

 Every movement is methodical and purposeful to the point that it looks almost as if the device is really thinking. Edge cleaning - the POWERbot™ R7065 has a standard spinning brush setup very much like a standard vacuum. It knows how to adjust itself under the counter edge to get along the baseboard and clean corners.This was impressive because I didn’t think it would do a good job that close to the wall

I received Samsung POWERbot R7065 from Amazon. As I took it out of the box I was immediately impressed. The Samsung POWERbot is ruggedly built and well-designed.It actually looks cool like a robot with digital display, head shape body and camera eye

 You can use the remote, app or the onboard touch buttons. Overall I was impressed with the vacuum. It did a great job and didn’t run into any difficulties. I would definitely recommend this vacuum
