It's at a sweet spot for price, practicality and convenience
I have considered a number of other models--Roborock S6 MaxV, S7, Ecovacs T8 AIVI, and N8 pro+--before settling on the S5 Max. My decision is based on my research from online reviewers, Amazon ratings, Youtubers etc. Amazon and other online reviews appear to give S5 Max a better rating than S6 Max. ...

Totally worth the price
The media could not be loaded. Although we have several vacuum cleaners already, I decided to get a Roborock so we wouldn’t be bothered by having to push it around. Our house is about 3500 square feet, mostly travertine and hardwood floor, all on one level. We have two cats and two Australian Shephe...

Mopping sucks, regular vacuum is good.
Have the s4 from before this one. The regular vacuum is good. The app has improved, although, it seems to forget the map rarely and that is pretty irritating, but you can live with it. The mopping function is below average. Two issues- Ton of streaks. Pretty disappointing. I have tried plain water, ...

Great for a couple of weeks than more trouble than it’s worth
Worked great for a couple of weeks. I never used the mop feature. For the first couple of weeks it ran great and the suction was perfect. But after about 6 weeks the battery either isn’t charging or drains really fast after 5-1 minutes of running. It also repeatedly goes right to our kitchen thresho...

Good quality robot vacuum?
I've had a Roborock S5 MAX for a year now, and it's great. Much better than my previous robot vac (Neato D5).

Great vacuum but...
First, the good: The S5-Max is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It is easy to set up and use. The ap is easy to use, and there are many YouTube videos showing how to use the more esoteric features. The vacuum is quiet and doesn't damage the furniture. Its mapping feature allows the user to place areas o...

As far as I can tell, Home Assistant is the way to go. I've been looking at Robot Vacuums and I really like several features that the Roborock S5 Max has to offer, as well as the price.
Roborock S5 Robot Vacuum Review
After 144 minutes, the S5 was still at 24 percent, for the longest-lasting battery we've seen on a robot vacuum. That makes it pretty reliable for cleaning entire floors of large homes.

I want to buy my first robot vacuum cleaner, and after a small research I found that Roborock S5 Max was great shot offer/price. But after that I heard about S7, new one and I’m considering grab that one. My friends are recommending me Roomba i7+ but I don’t see any reliable comparison or benchmarks of that two together.
