Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3

It's been very enjoyable for me personally. Overall, I can highly recommend this Z Flip 3. I feel like these foldable phones are seriously underrated ...

So those are all the pluses and minuses I found with using the Z Flip 3, but do I recommend it?

Having used both (4xl and 4a pixel side, Z Flip 3 and S10 Samsung side) I can say the only thing I missed from the Pixels was the camera quality of the portrait-style shots. Everything else was an easy win for Samsung (OneUI, videography, DeX, speed, a less painful Android 12 transition, etc..). I didn't hate my Pixels but Samsung (snapdragon variants) have been really incredible lately.

I purchased this phone through my carrier. Originally I was extremely pleased with the phone. Fast forward 10 months. The zFlip 3 has a couple known issues: the Manufacturer screen protector lifts and is (according to the Samsung repair shop) difficult to replace and if not present (i.e. you have it...

Not worried about the increase in size from my current P4...I tried out a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 over the past couple of days, and it and the P6 Pro are nearly the same width, with the Flip 3 being slightly taller. Had no problem handling/using the Flip 3, and assume it will be the same experience with the P6 Pro...can't wait.

After just 8 months the factory installed screen protector (which cannot be replaced in a fashion that is authorized by Samsung) became worn at the crease where the phone folds and rendered an expensive phone almost useless as it makes it hard to view photos and also catches your skin as you scroll....

I have a Z Flip 3 and it's super fun but I hate the aspect ratio because certain apps like Instagram reels/stories don't show correctly (with full screen mode on or off). Since the aspect ratio on the S22 series is supposed to be the same as iPhone it makes me think that social media apps won't have weird aspect ratio problems.

Only been using this for 5 months and the screen is already starting to fail. The screen is shutting off and won't turn back on, you have to try unflipping a couple of times to keep it on. I love the tech but its not there yet. Need to improve. I have been using Samsung phones for a decade and this ...

`Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3-` Due to compactness and the flipping allows me to have a portable tripod of sorts. `iPhone 13-` P h o t o g r a p h y (but could be compacter). `iPhone SE-` Compact and good photos I heard. `Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra-` Not compact :( but that stylus though (and performance I suppose).

I adore this phone. Love its compact size when folded. BUT it is disappointing to see the screen cracking after 6 months of usual use. Samsung's 1 year warranty does not cover a cracked screen even though it is clearly a hardware flaw. So please beware.
