New Laptop - Overwhelmed

Personally, if I was to buy a laptop right now it would be the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 13" (15" is also available). It's got some solid specs, it's crazy thin, and has very nice build quality to it. It usually sells for ~$1400, which comes in well under budget. If you wanted to take a step down, the Lenovo 7i 15" or the Dell Inspiron 7000 should be available with a bit less RAM but otherwise similar specs, and a larger display.

Battery life isn't great.

Battery life isn't great. Also, I find myself coming back to the computer, once going into screen saver mode, and find websites like Google homepage and Youtube in "stuck" mode for a minute or so. Unsure if this is the computer or anti-virus software but haven't had this problem with other laptops.

Touchpad Does not Click

All is good about this laptop except for the touchpad, which does not click if you put the laptop on your lap or any soft surface. The reason is that bottom tray beneath the laptop is not hard enough to allow for touchpad clicks.

Very Light - But had to return

I had to return this because the TouchPad mouse kept sticking. Other than that I was happy with Its performance.
