A Rendezvous with the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date
The History and Evolution of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date WatchAs the world’s most famous luxury watch brand, Rolex has plenty of iconic models to its name: Datejust, Day-Date “President,” Submariner, and Daytona, just to name a few. However, there are some models within the brand’s lineup that g...

[Rolex] OP39 Collection
I completed the set of Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39s a couples months ago. I think they represent the best value in the Rolex lineup and I love the simplicity of the clean dials with subtle color accents. I prefer the lumed batons design of the black and white but the others are beautiful too. Generally, I prefer alligator or cordovan straps but Rolex makes the best bracelets on the market, at least out of anything I’ve encountered.

[Rolex] I may not be able to afford an explorer, but I can draw it!
Technically it wasn't used in the first expedition to the top of the Everest, an earlier prototype Oyster Perpetual and a Smith's being the ones used. However Rolex created it specifically to commemorate that achievement. Next year is the 50th anniversary of the explorer 2. Also a great watch but wish the Explorer II had the 3-6-9 and 12 indices like this one, I think it would make it stand out much more.

[SOTC] Watches from the ‘Top Shelf’
ALS 1815 Up/Down - 2019. Rolex Oyster Perpetual - 2019. I’ve owned a lot of watches over the years.
[Omega] what’s the general opinion on the omega Seamaster aqua terra (41mm)?good first serious watch? Good collection starter? Good price? Over hyped?
The 41mm is a real full sized watch due to how large the dial is, so ensure that fits your wrist. 2.) Get the rubber strap at a minimum, and add the bracelet if you enjoy. The rubber strap of the best I have tried on, makes it versatile, and compliments the look.

[Rolex] Oyster Perpetual 34mm
I recently picked up this lovely little 34mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual 114200 with matte white dial. This model had a limited short production run of two years from 2018 to 2020. The white dial changes color depending on lighting from a matte silvery color to a creamy off-white color. I just love how simple and clean the face is.

[SOTC] Oyster Perpetual 36 White
Hey Everyone,. After a whirlwind year of trying various watches, this Oyster Perpetual stands alone. Yep, the current state of the collection stands at just one timepiece. But this one has seen the most wrist time and collected the most scratches, dents and nicks from a tumultuous year.

[Rolex] OP39 on a cloudy day
This is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39 mm reference number 114300. I bought it as a Christmas present to myself a few years back. I was set to buy a 36 mm watch but a friend convinced me to go for the 39 mm OP as it would suit me better. First I was put off by the color options (white and black was introduced two years later I think) but after seeing in person I really liked it.
[Rolex Oyster Perpetual] Two weeks in, and I’m in love!
I purchased this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36mm 126000 (Green Dial) from my local authorized dealer two weeks ago and am enjoying the improvements over my Explorer 114270, which I've been wearing for about 6-months as my daily. The chromalight lume, 70 hours of power reserve, and sharp dial indices are stellar!
