This is one hell of a laptop. keyboard and screen are damn bright, temps are amazing, THX audio with headphones is blood deep and sick. Hardwave be like (D 3 3 P)_brrrrrrr . I bought this for school. I'm in computering in college and I needed something to game, work and listen to music. I run Diablo...

Why I went back to using a ThinkPad from 2012
I personally find the value prop of my 2020 and 2021 model laptops, and my 2022 model desktop, to be rather good.2020: Razer Book 13: 4 core, 8 threads, AVX-512, Thunderbolt 4. Weird gaming company, yes, but also competent thermal design and the machine works perfectly.
Only look for these laptops if you have a high budget or have a niche need. [x] Asus Flow X13 - Ryzen 5000 series chip, The only 13-inch convertible laptop with dedicated GTX graphics, insane performance. [x] LG gram 16/17 - The Only 16/17 Ultrabook, Huge 2K display, Huge battery. [x] Razer Book 13 - Razer's XPS 13.
Let me save some of you a lot of grief
First off let me say I am in the IT business and have used and tested quite a few laptops over the last few years and I will say this one hits almost all the right buttons. Charger is cheaply made, camera blurs, keys are unreliable, and costumer service from Razer is poor
Potentially a great laptop but major issues that really undermine its functionality and creating additional costs. Razer customer service is also slow and disappointing. The first issue is that the USBc charger head is poorly made. Only two wire ends are soldered, and the head is held to the cable m...

Verdict
Call us old school, but dedicated mouse buttons and wider hinge angles like on most Lenovo ThinkPads ultimately feel more ergonomic when on the road. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over such auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche. The Razer Book 13 is a stellar Intel Evo laptop with the performance and connectivity to back up its sharp looks
Ask HN: What are you surprised isn’t being worked on more?
Razer Blade Stealth 13 & Razer Book 13 fill this gapI use Stealth 13 and impressed with its metal body and touchpad, also no shiny RGB logo
Good, not great
Well designed, solid build construction. The keyboard has a nice tactile but is slightly shallow. The touchpad is firm with a solid thump for a click, though the surface is a tad rough. Unfortunately the fans are on nearly constantly, even when not doing anything. This makes it pretty annoying to us...
