That would put the PSB Alpha AM3 in your reach. I’d recommend those over the JBL’s if you’re going to be connecting these straight to a PC. The JBL’s are pro monitors, and they will be very inconvenient to use without an additional device that can serve as a monitor preamp.

Great sounding speakers. These actually have a bigger sound stage than they look. The bass is surprisingly deep for 4" woofers, and the midrange is tight and detailed. The only annoying part is the upside-down tweeter placement, so I had to raise my speaker a little bit higher than I would've liked....
