I’m also new(ish) and I didn’t want to spend a lot or buy used, picked up a clearance special Polygon X2 hybrid bike and it’s been really good. Slightly chunky tyres for if I want to cut across the grass but not too draggy on the road. A bit of super simple front suspension to soak up bumps in the road.

Omg I didn’t know bikes could be sooo overwhelming. I used to love riding as a kid and I wanted to pick it back up to build endurance and just get in shape. I want to ride around the city and on paved trails. I found a bunch of used bikes on offer up and Facebook market place but I have no idea which one to pick since there are so many types of bikes (mountain, hybrid, gravel, road) . I’m 5’4 and 120 lbs. i would love any help steering me into the right direction. 

Seriously any tip helps from sizing and what type of bike to pick I’m struggling so bad right now! Thank you so much!!
