Peloton Bike

All right? So I like the peloton bike. that's clear, but I don't think it's for everybody and I know it's out of some people's price range.

Now with all that said, who do I recommend the Peloton bike for?

Also, the heart rate monitor from Peloton is trash.

I've taken pics like that many times, always make me happy.

But again, this also underscores the point that if people stop paying for the services, Peloton becomes a “dumb” bike that acts as a coat rack in your apartment, rather than a useful machine.

In between those sessions were 30 minutes of LISS 3x a week. The small training windows is what sold me and I had great results with this.

Picked up this gem today after hours of research (lurking) both here and on YouTube. I went from almost purchasing a cheap e-bike from a local dealer to this in about 2 weeks. I love this thing - 30 miles through Manhattan and Brooklyn today on my first ride.

If it was me, I would definitely keep the peloton and it sounds like you have a pretty nice road bike. So I honestly would keep them both. Prices for bikes have gone up at ridiculous rates and the tech in road bikes doesn’t change much. Selling it might me you have a higher barrier for re-entry.

Have been riding one of these around NYC every day for the last couple of months, it's absolutely great (pretty mind-blowing as a first e-bike for me). Enjoy!

This bike hasn't done me wrong. Haven't driven my car in over a month since receiving it. The only thing that's gotten me outside since Covid-19 hit. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to get outside, and feel that fresh air on their face!
