 It looks just like that Hawaiian Breeze Room except it's white, so let's go ahead and start it off on speed One first. Now it doesn't spin very fast, but it actually is pushing a nice gentle breeze to least get some air circulation going on in the room. but it's completely silent. You don't hear any noises or anything from the fan

Pelonis “Turbo Silence” DC Motor Stand Fan.

 This fan is definitely louder than my old Lasko fan. I even removed the Pelonis fan blades and put my old Lasko fan blades on, which helped slightly, but the fan is still pretty loud, and I've noticed that it takes me longer to fall asleep, and when I was up in the morning, I feel like my ears and brain have been overstimulated during the night. I'm not sure if this will improve as I get used to the fan, but I'm hoping it will. So I'm really on the cusp about recommending this fan for people who want a quiet fan for sleeping

It's much louder than my old fan, but given my old fan has been dying a slow death, it may have slowed down a bit over the past 6 months or so.  I have been running the fan on the high speed setting to break it in, then using the low speed setting for sleep, but now I'll discuss my next complaint

Great fan, but....

Nice Fan - Timer always on, turns off after 12 hours.

. the DC 12 speed fan is fabulous. Powerful and quiet. It also uses 70% less power than the AC fans

ONLY the "DC" 12 speed fan will be quiet...none of the others will as they use an "AC" motor instead
