This fan has 12 different speeds so you can achieve the ideal airflow for your needs. Stretching just over 54" high, it's one of the tallest fans we tested and also the quietest &mdash; barely audible when on its "silent" mode. It has 3 additional modes, including "sleep" which gradually slows down over several hours, and "natural" which has variable speeds to blend more organically into the background. Additionally, you can set it to turn off after 30 minutes, 12 hours, or anything in between. The handy remote comes with a battery, and the lights power off after a few seconds, making it ideal for nighttime bedroom use. Unlike many others, it also remembers your last settings when you turn it back on, so no need to fight through all 12 speeds every time you want to use it. A heavy base aids with stability, too. 
Although the Silent Turbo is one of the quieter fans, it beeps rather loudly every time you change a setting. This is not exactly ideal when attempting to operate the fan in a quiet bedroom. A couple of the modes seem very similar, and it took several seconds to settle into the correct speed when changing a setting. Additionally, this is not the most powerful fan we tested. Despite having 12 different speed settings, the highest rate of airflow measured at just 10.5 mph, which is below average for this group of contenders. With all that in mind, we highly enjoy the convenience and less intrusive noise you get with this model.

 It was main July of 2018 and as made by JD Madea environment appliances, manufacturer - and I have quite a few GT medea pedestal fans that Hawaiian breeze DC motor pedestal fan. It'S very similar to this was actually made by GD Madea as well and for being made in China. I have nothing against them, they're, actually pretty reliable fans and I've used them. Quite a lot, never really had a problem with that brand or their fans

 I never really use that feature. This is silent, which really doesn't do much it's just barely making a breeze. Really. The only thing that's making noise on the speed is the actual oscillation motor, pretty silent and off, and that is my Polonius 16-inch DC motor pedestal fan

 I also believe that, because the way that this fan actually starts up is very interesting, I've never seen a DC motor fan do this before it kind of starts up like those DC motor ceiling, fans would really do, and this one actually uses a proper DC brushless Motor and yeah, it's very quiet. It works very well and for not spinning that fast it actually produces a pretty good amount of there. So I'm gon na go ahead and start this one off on speed one out of twelve. I do have the remote as well

 This is not a bad fan now. This one, I feel like, is a more watered down version to the Hawaiian breeze. This one just has 12 speeds instead of the expansive 26 normal speeds and the nine quiet speeds that the wine breeze has it spins a bit slower. So I believe that the motor is different

  The three fan speeds are not much different. Low, Medium and High, or 1, 2, 3, or whatever you want to call the fan speeds, well, they're honestly not that different. Yes, I can hear the fan speed up slightly, but there really isn't much of a difference between the three speeds, both in speed and sound. I'm not sure if this fan is working as intended or not, but it may be an issue requiring me to return the fan back to Amazon or the manufacturer

 It's much louder than my old fan, but given my old fan has been dying a slow death, it may have slowed down a bit over the past 6 months or so.  I have been running the fan on the high speed setting to break it in, then using the low speed setting for sleep, but now I'll discuss my next complaint.  The three fan speeds are not much different. Great fan, but....

 Just like its name, implies it's fairly lightweight and offers an exceptional range in height from 42 to 54 inches. The most of any model we test it while most remote controlled fans beep with every button, push the lasco stays silent. It remembers your last settings when turned on each time and can be helpfully positioned anywhere from slightly downward to nearly vertical. On top of that, it comes with a small velcro patch for the remote that you can stick just about anywhere like on your bed, post or nightstand, to keep it close by though the lasko cyclone does have a timer

 While this fan lacks the bells and whistles of fancier models, it still gets the job done, making it a good value. Item number two: honeywell double blade: 16.  So being that I'm a new widow and trying to make ends meet I needed a fan almost as good but for much less. This one does fit the bill for the most part. It's got less settings and I have one pet peeve I cannot stand about this fan!!! It turns off all the time on it's own and it isn't on timer!!! Man when I get home and expect to have a cool house and only part is cool and my room with the fan is stuffy and 🥵 I know that the fan turned itself off!!! Ughhhh it's the most annoying thing

 This one is for use in the bedroom and is a little noisier than it could be. All I want is a little airflow, perhaps if this one offered a setting slightly slower it would be perfect. No real complaint though and for the money I think it is a good choice.
