Parkhurst Allen

They're great boots. Andrew is great to talk to on social and super responsive (he offered to ship me a new pair next day when I messaged him about the small scrape - I didn't end up wanting a new pair, just wanted to let him know in case it was something happening at the shop that he could address). The boots are high quality, comfortable, and apart from me wearing them for the wrong activities and them having subpar laces, I can't think of anything wrong with them.

* Size: 8. Last weekend I took delivery of my Parkhurst MTO Allen boots. Pretty much 10 weeks on the dot IIRC. This is my first MTO boot and I couldn’t be any happier even if they somehow tucked a free hand job inside the box.

I am new to GYW shoes and have only one pair for the challenge. I will be going easy mode with my Parkhurst Allen boots in kudu. I am excited to participate and see all of your submissions.

It seems like parkhurst and mark albert have the ones I'm interested in most. I love the parkhurst allen spruce kudu, but this sub has made me really want to steer away from the dainite soles. So I'm thinking if they're not willing to swap them to commando soles then I'll do a mto and switch to one of the other profiles. All that being said, I'm pretty fond of the mark albert version (the uptown forest kudu).

I'm a big fan of how the Parkhurst Allen looks, with the back of the boot curving in [(for example)](https://imgur.com/GprX3CA) instead of being straight like Thursdays [(here)](https://imgur.com/ip3q0xw) gives it a much sleeker look, and I believe the extra curve makes it easier to point your ankle outwards.

Ok, so first thing about the review is that I am considering them as $325 boot (what I paid on sale), not a $470 boot (what full price is) because: a) that’s what this particular pair is; b) all of my boots are in the $300ish range, so I have points of comparison.
