Viberg 1035

I normally take a 9.5 in both Viberg 1035 and 2030 for a nice snug fit. However, a size 10 in 2030 sometimes works as well depending on the pair. The fit on these Type I boot is pretty on point, snug but not too roomy, super comfortable right out of the box.

Once on the fit is pretty good. Comfortable, room to wiggle my toes, sometimes there's a little heel slip, particularly walking downhill. As I said I am a 10E Brannock, I have narrow heels. My best fitting shoes and boots are Viberg 9.5 1035 last and I fit Alden !0D trubalance.

Viberg 1035 (these boots): 8 (feeling excellent all around). As I said above, these boots fit me just so! They are snug around the heel, snug on my bridge and vamp without having too much pressure and the toe box adequately holds my pretty wide forefoot and is just tall enough to tap the top of my toes without being uncomfortable. Obviously the boots will soften up with wear but even with only an hour or so of wear around the house, they feel like they’re gonna be unbelievably comfortable.

Viberg 1035 (these boots): 8 (a touch snug at the ball of my foot). As far as fit goes with these, I don’t think I could get a better fit in this specific model. As I’ve only worn them a few times they are more of a chore to get on than my boots (all with open facings) but once on they are quite comfortable. They hug my heel quite nicely and fit snug but fairly well in the toe box.

Out of the boots I have so far, which is not many, my favourite last has to be the [Viberg 1035](https://i.imgur.com/tZYsvXb.jpg). There's ample volume in the instep, vamp, and the more rounded toe box works super well for me. The 2030 just doesn't have the volume up front for me.

1035 is such a weird last. Without a captoe, it looks blobby and weird. But slap a cap toe on it, and they look great.
