I bought these boots both for working at a retail store, as well as for it's look. I'll soon be out of retail, but I'll continue wearing the boots throughout the fall and winter, and likely into spring as well.  It does take about a month on average to break the boots in. Also, you might need some vaseline/petroleum jelly to put on the outside of the tongue on the boot (in between the laces too) to keep the boots from constantly squeaking

I'm a big fan of how the Parkhurst Allen looks, with the back of the boot curving in [(for example)](https://imgur.com/GprX3CA) instead of being straight like Thursdays [(here)](https://imgur.com/ip3q0xw) gives it a much sleeker look, and I believe the extra curve makes it easier to point your ankle outwards.

They're great boots. Andrew is great to talk to on social and super responsive (he offered to ship me a new pair next day when I messaged him about the small scrape - I didn't end up wanting a new pair, just wanted to let him know in case it was something happening at the shop that he could address). The boots are high quality, comfortable, and apart from me wearing them for the wrong activities and them having subpar laces, I can't think of anything wrong with them.
