Oris Aquis Watches: A Comprehensive Guide to the History and the Moder
Price: $27,500, Case Size: 41.5mm, Lug Width: 22mm, Crystal: Domed Sapphire, Water Resistance: 300 meters, Movement: Automatic Oris Caliber 400. Aquis Date New York Harbor Limited Edition
[SOTC] Behold, my (fairly average) stuff!
The crystal and dial look incredible in the sunlight, especially when I'm driving my...CR-V???. Oris Aquis 39.5mm: I work in an ER, and I also spend a huge amount of time outdoors mountaineering and backpacking. All of this considered, I was looking specifically for a diver that was fairly bulletproof and washable to get myself when I got admitted to medical school. I don't feel like I deserve a nice watch like a Seamaster yet, and I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing such a nice watch with where I am in my life, so the Oris fit the price bracket and looks great at the same time.

[ORIS Aquis Upcycle] My First “Real” Watch
I finally got my hands on the 41.50mm ORIS Aquis Upcycle. Like the title says this is my first real watch so I wanted something that would go with anything and I think it’s safe to say this definitely will. After a lot of research and sorting through my options I decided this was the one. I love ORIS as a company but more importantly I love the uniqueness and the mission behind this watch.

[Hamilton] Early Christmas Present to Me—Now I Have a Collection!
I picked up my Oris Aquis nearly 2 years ago, and it's barely been off my wrist since. But lately I've been craving both a chronograph, something a strap, and also something with a little more personality. I've had my eye on both editions of the Hamilton Intra-Matic Chrono for a while, and then I stumbled on an amazing deal on this Hamilton from an authorized dealer—a returned, never-worn item with nearly the full factory warranty remaining, priced a couple hundred below grey market pricing, and I knew I had to jump on it. So far, I love it.
[Omega] Honestly, I don’t deserve this.
231.10.39.21.03.001) about a month ago now from my trusted AD for a great price (pre-owned), and it’s more than holding its own in rotation with my Oris Aquis 41.5 and GS SGBN013 quartz GMT. I don’t baby my watches even a little and this is passing all the trials of fatherhood (2 year-old!

[Oris] I've always wanted an Oris, now I finally got around to buying one: Oris Aquis Dat Watt limited edition.
The one that finally lured me in was the Oris Aquis Dat Watt limited edition. It's a dive watch with an actual moonphase complication.

[SOTC] also I wanted to show off my new case
Probably going to go soon, it’s nice but I’m no longer head-over-heels like with the BB GMT. Oris Aquis Date 43.5 - yacht master vibes.

[Orient, Tissot, Longines] Which watch should I get?
Even though it doesn't do anything new, everything that it does is done extremely well. It's always my go to recommendation for the best bang for your buck watch under a grand. You're not going to find a movement with an 80 hour power reserve and a silicon hairspring in any other decent watch for the same price.

Oris Aquis 40mm tungsten bezel. Another great quality and value. Love the smaller size at 40mm. Great tungsten bezel and really nice quality rubber strap and deployant buckle.

I’m a sucker for both Interstellar watches. I bought them because I love the movie but the watches made me love Hamilton. Highly recommend both.
