[Orient Star Classic] Best bang for the buck dress watch!
this beautiful orient star classic just arrived today! with its 44milimeters lug to lug and 38 milimeters diameter, make it very classy and comfortable to wear. Movement running nicely and the domed dial is just so pretty to look at! What i like the most about this piece is its minimalist japanese aesthetic and symmetrical power reserve indicator.i choose this over seiko presage anytime!
[Orient Star] Classic and timeless
hi everyone, here is my orient star classic on a cork leather strap. Really love this watch for its timeless design, domed glass, exhibition caseback, and of course power reserve indicator! this is currently my only analog + automatic in my minimalist watch collection lol. The crown is smooth and sturdy, hand-winding experience is a pleasure, at least in this price point.

I want a more dressy watch now and the Orient Star Classic AF02001S (in either silver or gold) and the Orient Star Classic Elegant SEL09004W0 (sold out everywhere) are both almost perfect and exactly what I'm looking for. The problem is they're just a bit too thick (tall?) for my taste. The lack of sapphire crystal is disappointing too, but the deal breaker was the thickness.

Its dial cracked and it will be like that forever unless I order a new dial, which will probably cost more than the watch itself. Also it lost its punctuality just after having been in service for 2+ months and I really don't wanna take it back there again because those folks are unreliable and it costs a lot. . .
