Way too much hiss and noise when you engage the pedal. Had to send it back. I’ve had this issue with their Black Fountain pedal, too. I have several other pedals and only the OBNE ones have given me grief.

I really wanted to like this pedal but it produced an unbearable amount of hiss. I tried different power supplies, different pedal orders, direct in, and it still happened.

The bitcrusher setting is the best and I don't think I've heard any better reverb in my life. It's perfect to play this live and wait till the crazy ambience comes in.

This pedal is awesome! I use it primarily after drives and before modulation/delay effects. It is a game changer if you want your tone to sound like a haunted house.
