The big problem for me was that you need to manually adjust the knobs to get each sound, as the pedal cannot save presets, meaning its utility was reduced for live settings. I also have a Digitech Polara, which is an awesome pedal for traditional reverbs, but it's no longer as cheap on the used market it as it once was.

This series 3 pedal dose not even appear to have tap tempo, which at this price is just unacceptable in my opinion. Reverb? A digitech polara goes for around £80-100 used.

Digitech Polara - I play a lot of surfy and spaghetti western inspired music and find the spring reverb to be very useful. Every reverb on here is usable and great. The reverse and halo settings are very cool.

Digitech Polara: reverb that can sound pretty digital, but it can get some extreme sounds which is what I'm after. Boss DD-3: basic delay with three adjustable frequency settings. EHX Superego Plus: synth engine and multi-effect, lots of functionality including a freezing effect and the ability to mix in dry signal with heavy effects. EHX 720: looper with 10 slots, 720 seconds of loop time, and reverse and half speed settings which are great for the noisey stuff I like to make.

* Digitech Polara: This is already well-known around these parts. I love the drippy spring sound as much as I love the shimmer ("halo") mode, and the optional trails. It's definitely on par with its pricier competition in many ways.

Digitech Polara. I've replaced plenty of other effectpedals but this one stays. I always use subtle reverbs so it's perfect for me.

I didn’t have any of these pedals on our last album so I’m expecting the next one to be weirder.

When it comes to reverb, nothing beats the Digitech Polara imho.
