October of 2018 I do see both versions on new neighbors shop on its website So the mark 2 is a little bit more expensive. They're both what I would call premium priced So I think that's a decision you'll have to make they both are awesome reverbs And if you want the newer features that are part of the mark 2 it's definitely worth considering Paying the small amount more to get it. You haven't already done

 If you've been hanging out here on the channel you know that I purchased the

 original New Neighbor Immerse a few years ago and that I love it and have

 used it heavily in many videos and in a lot of chords of Orion music. Well, I was

 really excited to hear about the release of the Mark II, so I reached out to New

 Neighbor and asked them if they would send me a demo unit, and they very kindly

 did. I should make it clear that this is not a promotional video. In other words,

 New Neighbor is not paying me any money, nor am I obligated to say anything, good

 or bad, about this pedal. But what I would like to do on this video is quickly

 share with you the features and controls and get right into some demos of the

 various reverb modes. Like the original Immerse, the Mark II is drop-dead simple

 to use. There are mix and depth knobs at the top of the pedal. In the middle is

 the reverb type selector, and I'll talk about that in a minute. The bottom two

 knobs are actually variable knobs depending on which reverb type is

 selected. So on the left-hand side you'll have things like time, reverb time, and

 tone. On the right-hand side you'll have things like pre-delay, modulation amount,

 and blend. And there's also the kill dry switch and the trails mode switch, just

 like the Immerse Version 1. A big difference with the Mark II is indeed

 that mix knob. It goes all the way to 100% wet, which is something I've wanted

 for a long time. Just like the Mark I, I'll call it the Mark I, the Mark II has

 a buffered bypass with analog drive-through. So what's new on the

 Mark II? Well, a few things. One is New Neighbor says that the overall pedal has

 increased headroom to handle different levels of signal, so that's cool. Again, I

 mentioned the mix knob going all the way to 100%. There is a new version of the

 wet reverb type. It's called Wet Version 3, and it is pretty cool. There is also a

 new reverb mode called Sustain, which you'll hear, and the Shimmer modes have

 been combined into one really nice sounding Shimmer mode. Alright, enough

 Well there you have it a look at the new neighbor immerse

 mark 2 I have to say and I do mean this honestly that I
