After 2 months of chair shopping, blind-buying 7 different chairs from Ebay/Amazon and Manufacturors, and spending 2 hours at an Office Furniture depot trying all the top-of-the-line chairs (Aeron, Leap, Gesture, Embody, Zody), I spent the big bucks today on the "NIGHTINGALE CXO 6200D". It's honestly been a journey and I'm sure COVID 19 has made it harder than it had to be find/try chairs quickly. This chair is built like a damn tank. It's better than the Aeron, it's better than the Leap V2 and the Embody.

Seeing as we're on the subject of office chairs, the one and only, often imitated but never duplicated, Herman Miller Aeron.

I didn't find this comfortable for my particular frame - my go to office chair at work is the Nightingale CXO and at home I have a Neutral Posture 8000. Both of them have lasted a LONG* time.

Needs an office chair recommendations

The most comfortable office chairs I have ever used are the Nightingale CXO and the Neutral Posture chairs. I use a Nightingale at work and Neutral Posture at home. If I had to choose between the two, I would say the Nightingale is by far the best for posture and eliminating lower back pain. It also has a fantastically cushy seat.

Got the HD version although I'm only 6' tall and weigh 185 pounds. Work long hours on computer and the memory form for the seat is fabulous. Also I need to lean back into my chair from time to time to relief the strain on my back and I couldn't ask for better. It is a very heavy chair though and fee...

For instance I like to sit on my leg occasionally and the seat depth adjustment piece digs in and sometimes on my thighs too. I wanted to like this once because it's so cool looking, but looks are not a great reason to keep a $1600 chair. So I'm thinking to try a Gesture next, but are there other recommendations? A while back someone mentioned the Nightingale CXO, but they do not have free returns and that's a deal breaker for such an expensive investment.
