No complaints; only one wish ;).
This pad is great. Closed-cell pads have been a neglected part of the market for awhile, and I'm pumped that NEMO is re-visiting them with some notable improvements over the classic-that-shall-not-be-named. The Switchback offers a very noticable improvement in plushness/comfort over said classic pad...

Just the thing for...
These pads are cheap, fairly comfortable and good for hard duty in cases where depending on the nice inflatable might be a bit risky. In my younger days I made long hikes and slept directly on the ground in my bag. Those days are long gone, and many years ground-pounding have left me 2” shorter, wit...

Using half a mat for my dog.
Dog approves. I cut it in half to use as sleeping pad for dog and emergency sleeping pad if ever my neoair springs a leak. Spend a night on it as proof of concept but will stick with the neoair for now for myself. Buying this stopped the dog from trying to sleep on my mat / myself - which will likel...

Nemo Switchback - Review and comparison
Nimmo switchback compared to the thermal risk, but also taking in mind that this one is maybe four years old and this one's brand new I haven't slipped on it yet I'm one of 170 centimeters so I'm not that tall of a guy and definitely these lists Nemo switchback is more than adequate enough for my size. Laying on the back very comfortable.

All they had was the Nemo Switchback and I’ll be damned if it’s not the perfect blend of Ridgerest and Z-lite.

Peace of Mind
I bought this for a backpacking trip through the Linville Gorge in North Carolina. An avid avoider of trails, I tended to spend more time in the trees and rocks than on a marked path. As a result, I needed a sleeping pad that could take abuse.
This product performed as expected. It weighs almost...

Excellent warmth and size
My wife really wanted this and is now very happy with it. She likes the good height from the ground that it provides compared with similar pads, yet with the egg-crate construction it folds down seemingly smaller than competitors. The warmth is noticeable immediately upon lying on this pad and the c...

The most comfortable fold up light weight pad that doesn't bottom out
I haven't used it for real camping yet because of the virus. We cancelled our trip. But I used it on my hard tile floor. And just the Nemo switchback by itself provided support. I first used the Teton universal pad. But I bottomed out on the hard flat floor. But this one alone never bottomed out. An...
