Recently bought an exped megamat duo and it really helped me get a good night's rest. It's pricey but worth it for your sleep.

I followed the instructions and opened it for an hour. It self inflated pretty decent but one side seemed to be stuck. Left it overnight and it came up a little more. Used the air bag as directed and got it fully inflated. Left inflated a few days before my camping trip, then rolled it up and packed...

I went with the exped megamat 10 after so many reviews and I haven't been disappointed. I think it's probably the best you can do without literally bringing a bed.

I recently got back into tent camping and decided to pick up a new air mattress. I ordered the Exped mega mat 10 sleeping pad because all the excellent reviews. I had it within 2 days (great shipping) went camping that weekend and the air slowly leaked out through out the night. Not happy at all!!

If car camping, the Exped MegaMat. It has a very high R value (insulates you from the ground) and is by far the most comfortable sleeping pad out there. Well worth the price.

Finally got a chance to use this. Was warmer than regular inflatable and way easier to pack fir car camping. It's super firm. I prefer firm, but this is over the top. Wish we would have been able to use it a few more times before the date to return expired. I would have returned.
