So, since the tent tapers at the feet, my sleeping bag pushed against the side of the tent and got soaked, which then made me very cold that night. So that's when I decided to get the Tensor Wide and I love it and have slept on it a dozen nights. Problem is, my Wide and my wife's Narrow won't fit in the Dragonfly 2p. I've looked at similar 2p tents like the Copper Spur HV UL2 but it also tapers to like 41/42" which is too narrow for our pads.

Ordered a Nemo Dragonfly 2P Tent Received a Hornet 1 P tent The tent bag is labeled Dragonfly 2P but the actual tent is a Hornet 1P. Glad I checked before my trip in 10 days!!! Had to select a rating... but haven’t used it yet

I mean, you can buy almost any 3season tent you want with that budget. Nemo Dragonfly, BA Copper Spur, BA Tiger Wall...

It’s light weight but it’s not really totally freestanding. It really helps to be able to stake in to stretch it out to its proper geometry.

I absolutely adore my Nemo Dragonfly 2 person. It is super light and balances sturdiness with packability. I've gotten 2 seasons with it so far and have no complaints. Make sure you get a ground cloth for it since the floor is very thin material.
