I'm reasonably impressed with the MSI model we've been looking at today.

I have the MSI Optix MPG27CQ and I'm sick of the stand. I mean, it is great and keeps my monitor from rocking, but it is MASSIVE and takes up a great portion of my desk.

The MSI Optix MPG27CQ is a decent 27", 1440p monitor with deep blacks and excellent gaming features. It has outstanding low input lag, an excellent response time, and it supports FreeSync, even when connected to a recent NVIDIA graphics card. This monitor has a great design, with an adjustable stand and great build quality, and it has a great RGB lighting system

I am currently using a MSI Optix MPG27CQ WQHD at 144hz. I bought this a little over a year ago when i built my first and current gaming PC and it does preety well gaming at 1440p but its really bad when it comes to my PS4 Pro. Everything feels like its running at 30 fps, also looks really pixelated and just really bad in general.

I took the Optix MPG27CQ through its paces in games such as the 2016 version of Hitman, Far Cry 5, and Rise of the Tomb Raider (and their associated benchmarks). Colors were bright, and the monitor did well in rendering detail in both bright and dark areas. I saw no trace of tearing or other artifacts
