Downside is viewing angle. Viewing angle is not as good as it should be on IPS monitor. I think MSI didn't use good quality anti-glare coating on this

Overall I think this is a really good monitor for the price of £150 and you definitely can't get much better than this for this sort of price.

The Msi G241 is a good one from what I have seen from reviews. Really good colors and response times.

Overall I am happy with this monitor. It came with a little bit of backlight bleed in the top left side, it's very slight and doesn't affect my experience, the only reason I even noticed it is that I was doing a dead pixel check when I saw it. 2k 27 inch would have been fine. The MSI G241 would be my recommendation for your budget. It's IPS, 144Hz. The Acer nitro suffers from consistency issues.
