Incredible performance, incredible heat?
One thing people need to understand about this laptop is that it has been TDP upped out of the factory. What this means is that its power limits are set well above Intel's specs. For the Intel i7-10750H the recommended TDP is 45 watts which is typically what PL1 should be set to out of the box, but ...

Upgrading from the desktop GeForce RTX 2070 to the desktop RTX 3070 will net owners a 40 to 45 percent gain in raw graphics performance. Meanwhile, upgrading from the mobile GeForce RTX 2070 to the mobile RTX 3070 will net owners a 25 to 30 percent gain. The 2021 GS66 may come equipped with a fancy ...

* Good support for Linux out-of-the-box — since this is primarily a machine that I need for my livelihood, don't want to have to spend too much time futzing with it to get it to just work. * Good customer support: looking for decent support, phone availability.
MSI GS66 Stealth (2021) Review
It also introduced a fabulous QHD screen option for a first-rate gaming experience as our review unit was so equipped.

Love it!
I just recently received my MSI GS66 Stealth and I really like it so far! However, I was a bit confused that the keyboard back lights couldn't be changed since their previous models allowed for it. If you're like me and thought you could, don't expect to do so! I haven't found an option to change or...

Similarly laptops like Asus Zephyrus G15 allows 20W of dynamic boost while MSI GS66 allows only 15W (both have base 80W). Thus benchmarks show that G15 has slightly higher Timespy scores (9400 vs 9100 on 3070), however in game GS66 actually doesn’t lag much at all in many games since the 20W boost in G15 only activates at below 25W CPU. And the mux switch on the GS66 more than makes up the gap. How much dynamic boost matters to you depends on what you play.
Other laptops with the RTX 3070 perform nearly as well
Just like last year’s GS66 Stealth, this is an alluring package that delivers just about everything that I want in a gaming laptop. Its design is mature, and it has a generous amount of ports. Though, also like last year’s model, it has some flaws, like the over-crowded keyboard and some problem areas on the chassis that flex more than they should

Gaming alternatives to Razer Blade? (thin, clean, suitable for business but can game very well)
They do have some slightly sleek venting, but aside from that and the prism holes on the lid, it's very subdued. For a more Razer Blade counterpart, the MSI GS66 Stealth comes pretty close in terms of chassis.
Hybrid Power Issues Galore - Effectively DOA
Ammending the review based on new understanding of how MSI designed this laptop (maybe other series too.) From day 1 I have experienced major issues with MSI's Hybrid Power system (not advertised on this product listing.) I had never heard of anything like this with any previous laptop I've owned; I...

GPU Vs Ram
I would go for the Msi stealth because 16 gigs of ram is the standard but if you get a better graphics card you will get a lot better performance
