Marmot Limestone 6P

Marmot Limestone 6p. Basically a big square. I own this one and scored it used for $180 from FB Marketplace.

This is my third Marmot tent. I bought this to be a base tent mostly to be used on multi day river trips.

Pros:

-Very roomy and tall. I’m 6’ and can stand in the center no problems. Used two twin air mattresses and had plenty of room for a small action packer to be inside with random gear.

We have a Marmot Limestone 6p it’s been awesome. Great tent - not the cheapest but worth it with 3 kids beating on it for the last 6 years. Really has stood up to a lot of use and abuse.

I got my Marmot Limestone 6p on FB Marketplace for $180. If you check r/geartrade you can also get lucky sometimes. Coleman, Wenzel, Slumberjack etc are going to be huge pack sizes with fiberglass poles and only a 1 year warranty. Sometimes you can score the North Face Wawonda 6p when it is on sale for about $300.

Used tent for first time this past weekend. Easy to setup. Good height for 6'4" person. Held up well in high winds first night, with rain fly tie outs. Good size for 2 adults and 2 dogs. You would be way better off with a Marmot, Big Agnes, Sierra Designs (not the Target ones though), Naturehike, MSR etc. If you can stretch your budget then the Marmot Limestone 6p, Halo 6p or Torreya 6p would work awesome.

Very happy with the tent. Set up was easy. Very open and ventilated with the rain fly off. I am 6'2'' and I can stand in most areas of the tent.
