And again, this tent is really budget friendly. It's only 269 dollars and 270 dollars, so it's pretty affordable as far as tents as far as tents go.

I mean you're getting a killer deal on an awesome tent. It does come with a footprint which is awesome here.

I haven't used their bags but I have a marmot limelight 3p tent. Good quality and design. Overall I don't see many complaints about their stuff.

I just switched from a Marmot Limelight tent to a Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 and love it. Under 3 pounds including rain fly and poles and packs down very small!

You need a lightweight shelter, but may want something that still has durable materials for car camping. The Marmot Limelight 2p or 3p would work well here. If you can splurge then the Tungsten UL would be better to cut even more weight. Sierra Designs Meteor Lite and the Big Agnes Copper Spur UL would also work well.

Am I right to assume this or is the 2P sufficient for this kind of tent?. Additionally, my coworker had mentioned that condensation was a huge problem for him and after doing some research, it seemed that nylon should be avoided due to the fact that it tends to collect water and dry slower. Is this true?

Originally bought an MSR Elixir 3 but liked the build quality of the Limelight poles and found it incredibly simple to set up. Can’t speak to condensation as I have yet to take it out yet but the space for the 2P seems larger than most 2-person tents. Just enough room for a bag at the foot of the tent. Plus those huge door openings and nearly vertical walls make it feel so much larger inside.

Great tent. Compares well to my Big Agnes and Slingfin tents, esp for the money.
