 Welcome to Two Hub Cycling Boutique, I'm Anthony and today we're going to go over the brand new Look 795 Blade RS Disc version. Let's check it out. The Look 795 Blade RS is Look's first rendition of using disc brakes, but not only did they add the disc brakes, they completely re-engineered their aerodynamics to create a much more adjustable position that's easier to set up, has cleaner lines, and is a much better ride overall together. I had a chance to ride the original 795, I can tell you the Blade RS is a completely different bike

 Following down the stem, as you can see, there's external routing that follows the contour of the stem with the aerodynamic cover, and what this does is this allows easy adjustability going up and down, or swapping out a longer stem, and keeps the clean lines and aerodynamics for this bike. Moving down the stem, as you can see there's a seamless integration between the frame and fork that creates a very clean line, and then look at this massive down tube. What I notice is that this adds a lot to the power acceleration and really smoothens out the ride. For 2019, Lip did away with their integrated crankset, Z is dead baby, and moved on to a BB386 Evo bottom bracket to allow compatibility with any other crankset on the market

 795 Blade RS has massive chain stays, which yields great power transfer, and the rear

 drop rail integrates both the chain and seat stays to create a seamless transition which

 aids in aerodynamics and comfortability.

 The new 795 has done away with the integrated seat post, and now offers a traditional cantile

 telescoping seat post that has two great features on it, number one being the additional spot

 to add an extra water bottle cage for your longer rides, and the second being four adjustable

 With everything going disc, one of my favorite features about this bike is the quick release

 So unlike most thru axles where you have to unscrew the whole thing and take it out in

 any of the greasy thru axle lane on the ground, the Look 795 Blade RS just needs to be loosened

 up a couple of centimeters, and then the whole wheel will slide out, keeping the thru axle

 inside the hub, which makes for easier flat fixes and no greasy fingers.

 795 Blade RS is a newly redesigned package, and it's overly complex predecessor.

 This $4,000 module is half the price of the original, but twice the bike.

 The Look 795 Blade RS is challenging the aerodynamic bicycle market by making their design simple.

 But of course it's still an aero frame and you still find the aero features on it that you would expect. So let's start from the front of the bike. And the fork in particular. The fork legs are bowed out for better airflow, less turbulence around the wheel, but they're not super slim, I guess that's for improved handling

 Of course it's not really used with the SRAM eTap that is present on this bike. This stem though is compatible with any standard diameter road handlebar, but what we have now is Luke ADH aerodynamic handlebar with the flattened top section. Although this bar itself is pretty neat because it has these wide spaces, so it allows to mount basically any standard computer. So no proprietary designs needed here either, also very convenient

 And the fork in particular. The fork legs are bowed out for better airflow, less turbulence around the wheel, but they're not super slim, I guess that's for improved handling. Same goes for the head tube which has an hourglass shape, but again nothing radically narrow. The brakes as I said are rim brakes, but they're standard, centrally mounted, not even direct mount brakes, so where is the source? Pretty common, although with a slight aerodynamic penalty

 Hi everyone here and welcome to the workshop.

 Today I want to show you the latest bike build that I've completed and it's the first one

 In this case it's a brand new 795 Blade RS which has been released quite recently and

 in particular it's the rim brake version of this frame set unlike most other builds that

 And it's finished off in this beautiful pro-team white paint job which is the Mondrian color

 Pretty stunning in real life I must say.

 Now unlike other recent aerobike releases this frame differs in the fact that it doesn't

 use any kind of crazy integration or proprietary parts and also it sticks to rim brakes or

 at least you have the option to still have rim brakes, which if you for example have

 a high end groupset laying around from your old bike or a high end wheel set, that might
