I've had good luck with both Dell Latitude and Lenovo ThinkPad in that price range. Depending on where you are, Latitude might be slightly better value for money, since used ThinkPads are more talked about and popular.

It's terrible for that

I decide to return this laptop, because the "Esc" key dropped out from the keyboard. I have normally use the laptop without any improper instructions with it. It's terrible for that, although other things perform well. the quality of this laptop is bad.
