Great hardware!
Edited: I have to reformat the SSD, now Windows 10 Pro activated OK. Hi, the Laptop has the promised update (40 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD), but it does not activate Windows 10 Pro, the error says "We can't activate Windows on this devices because you don't have a valid digital license or product key". I trie...

The Best Lenovo Laptops for 2022
It's been more than 15 years since IBM stopped making ThinkPad laptops, yet you're still likely to see them in the halls of industry, virtual or actual. That's thanks to Lenovo.
The company formerly known as Legend Computers of Beijing, China, still produces the well-regarded laptop line, with ...

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon (7th Gen) review: Fantastic business laptop for frequent flyers and coffee-shop denizens
Battery life, though, is a bit disappointing. Lenovo claims up to 18 hours, but that's not for the more powerful configuration I tested with the UHD-resolution display which ran for 6 hours, 21 minutes in our streaming video test. With power and screen brightness adjustments, you can get more work time out of it, but basically, if you want the best battery life, skip the UHD HDR display

A business laptop with an extreme screen
That’s not a shameful score among top competitors, but it’s not great either. The system comes in under scores we’ve seen from the Dell XPS 15 with the same GPU, and the six-core MacBook Pro, which has AMD Radeon Pro 5300M. And, of course, it loses out to creator machines with more powerful Nvidia chips, such as the lower-priced Gigabyte Aero 15 with an RTX 3060

Verdict - The ThinkPad E15 G3 offers a good price-performance ratio
The third generation of the ThinkPad E15 offers a much faster processor and a brighter display. The standard display is already brighter than 300 nits, which fixes on of the issues from the previous models. There is even a new option for a panel with full sRGB gamut if you want to edit pictures or videos, but the standard panel is completely sufficient for most office scenarios

Manual activation of Windows 10 Pro required
I'm liking this computer so far. No problems other than the fact that Windows 10 Pro said the digital license wasn't valid when first setting it up. Another review here mentions formatting the SSD to have it work, though there's another way, probably simpler. Just google how to find your product key...

A lightweight powerful workstation laptop for the on-the-go business person.
Overall, I give this laptop a 9 out of 10. I choose the Windows 10 Pro version with Ryzen 7, 16GB of RAM, & 500GB NVME SSD Storage. Operating System - 10 out of 10 >Startup is blazing fast - average 15-20 seconds with login to desktop. >Apps Start up within seconds. >Easily open multiple Apps with n...
