Klipsch R-41M

* Klipsch R-41M Surrounds. **Setup Notes:**. Had to go with a TV stand instead of a wall mount due to being in a rental home and dealing with a block wall. Regardless the screen is centered in the room left to right and the middle is 44" high, which matches my eye level.

I guess the dynamic range and power of the speakers is what's expected of them at this spec and price. I had been on the search to replace them for awhile on a budget and found a pair of used Bose bookshelf speakers from the mid 80’s and almost pulled the trigger on them but someone picked me up before I had the chance, I was so disappointed but it was a blessing in disguise cause one day I was at Costco and saw the Klipsch R-41M on discount for a really good price and kind of had to pick them up. I couldn’t get them right that day so I ordered them online and they finally got here today. They’re the first speakers I’ve actually had to set up with my own speaker wire so it’s been a bit of a learning experience getting them set up, but now that they’re set up I couldn’t be happier with how they sound.

I really wanted to like the speakers and their highs sound great. Great detail. But most of the vocals sound like I'm listening to them from around a corner. My problem may be comparing to headphones like the Grado SR80e or old Cambridge Soundworks and Wharfdale bookshelf speakers. I wouldn't be so ...

Turntable is the Audio Technica AT-LPW30TK. The speakers are the Klipsch R-41m with a Fosi Audio TB10A amp.

This speaker looks amazing. Feels amazing. But I found the sound quality to be less or equal to that of 59 dollar Polk bookshelf speaker. So I sent mine back and saved 50$ and never lost any sound quality at all. Just saved $ If these speakers were 60$ I would say get them 10 out of 10 times.

I like the R-41M, and while they handle instruments quite well, the vocals are a bit subpar compared to what I can get from the headphones and DAC/AMP combo I use (Sennheiser HD6XX and Schiit Valhalla 2 + Modius). My budget is around USD$500 dollars, with some room to go slightly over if it's just a truly fantastic deal. My main priority is clarity and detail at low volumes.

The description said 200 watts, but the speakers themselves say different.! That's false advertisement. The brand is a great brand that makes good quality products but these speakers r over priced

I’d recommend klipsch R-41M with Cambridge AXA 35 or just klipsch R-51PM to save space. Horn speaker is probably the best bang for your buck at below $500.

SUMMARY At $150 (at time of review), matched with quality components in a desktop set-up, or small to medium-size room, the R-41Ms are capable little performers.
