It is a very good item daily use. I recommend doing it many times for the first use. Then sharpen it around 10 times after cutting every time. Make sure to wash it properly after because it has mini metal chips left after sharpening.

I've ordered this sharpener for family members (great as part of a housewarming basket), just don't count on getting the color you order.
