For a small knife sharpener it does an ok job. I wish there was a better guide on the fine ceramic because if you don’t hold your knife perfectly straight your edge gets a bit out of shape. It will sharpen though and does not take up a large amount of footprint. I’ll keep using it.

Bought for the same friend I bought the knife for and now she can always have a nice sharp knife and she's a very very happy with it. I do find it interesting that she owns a restaurant and the chef never explain to her about the need for the nice shirt knives

This is similar to one I borrowed from a friend. I had to do a Youtube video to see how to use it properly. It seems to have worked well on the knives I have sharpened so far. I like the fact that it is pretty compact so it is easy to store within easy reach.
