I barely cook pancakes so apologies to the pancake experts. Here is a video of me testing my "new" Ikea Vardagen 20cm. I bought it on eBay used and after a bit of crud removal and some cleaning I cooked with it. It looked seasoned enough already

The cast iron skillet I own is also from the IKEA Vardagen line (it was gifted me new by a relative), and I have to say it has been very reliable. A 24 cm Vardagen CS pan is around 20 Euros, which is a third cheaper than a De Buyer. The handle can also go in the oven (I don't plan of putting my CS pan in the oven, though, because I already have the CI skillet for that).

My Misen carbon steel pan is driving me insane. I have seasoned and reseasoned for a total of probably around 20 times in the past 4-5 months and it is NEVER non stick. I am this close to throwing it in the garbage altogether. I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. I am using the Crisbee puck, initially seasoned 6 times in the oven. Seasoned again multiple times on the stove top and every time it comes out looking flawlessly. Food just keeps sticking to it no matter what I do, even simple things like fish with a lot of oil. What can I do?
