My siblings and I have opted to go with a slightly smaller (65") Hisense U6G while spending only an extra $30. It appears to have FALD and upon seeing one in person it is hands down a huge improvement in image quality compared to the Samsung.

Pretty decent picture quality, especially considering the price, but for some reason 24fps content (aka most movies) have motion smoothing turned on by default. It causes an annoying "soap opera effect" which is distracting. There's a toggle to turn it off, but it only works on 60fps content, not 24...

Just wanted to say, after much research and listening to Reddit arguments, I got a Hisense U6G, 55", my first 4K TV, and I am very pleased. I have no frame of reference for watching 4K on anything pricier than this, so, there's that. But boy, my first viewing was "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" on 4K Blu-ray (Panasonic ub420), and it was lovely.

From rtings.com: “24p Judder-The Hisense U6G can remove judder from most sources, with no additional settings required” So this TV automatically removes judder from 24p sources with no way to turn that off. It does NOT remove judder from 60p sources therefore everything looks like it should, and so far I have not noticed any extra judder or stutter in this mode.

Its a great TV within your budget. Another to consider would be the 55" [Hisense for $460.
