I'm looking for a small ereader and hope you guys are able to help.

The requirements I have:

* small ! - 5 inches.
* Backlight (reading at night)
* Battery doesn't have to be amazing, if i can read a couple hours before recharging I'm fine. 
* SD Card Slot or at least 8GB Storage
* USB C would be nice but not required
* Hardware Buttons to turn the page would be nice, I don't need a touch screen
* WiFi is not needed
* e-ink display (basically, i could have used an old phone but I really like reading on e-ink and want to avoid looking at phone-like screens)

I tried the Kindle Paperwhite and was quite dissapointed that it feels kind of klumbsy. The device in general felt like a big downgrade from my 4th gen kindle I still have at home. Besides the backlight the paperwhite was just a big downgrade for me. 

I don't look for the newest reader but something that fits my needs. The biggest want I have here is the size. 

I started to look into the InkPalm 5 and found a way to set the language to english. Are there any other suggestions that would work here?

Hello, although i wished to own an e-ink book reader since a lot of years ago, this past December'20 my wife gave me a kindle 2019 basic model... and i discovered an interesting surprise: it has a **web browser** :-) 

So, as web developer i fastly thought to test what it could run. And during the last 2 months i'm developing this [e-ink.club](https://e-ink.club) website with "brain training" games, specially optimized for kindle basi devices, so: minimum RAM, minimum processor, minimum bandwith and high contrast greyscale colors. Because my kindle basic is quite slow (processing graphics) i must to avoid graphic animations even minimize the refreshing of the elements on screen. Due to this, i change only certain element when is needed using javascript or changing its CSS styles. It works :-)

I'm happy enough by the result. I can say that some of these games are really addictive :-) Who don't love sudoku or minesweeper? Please, if you try it, give me a feedback comment. I appreciate it, and usually aggregate improvements to those games thanks to constructive comments from the users. 

Is fully free, it doesn't require to install nothing. Vanilla javascript/HTML/CSS games. Run specially well on tablets, obviously. Also on smartphones, but the screen width usually is an awkward restriction.

There must be a huge lot of people with eyestrain that could benefit from this kind of tech. E-ink groups on Facebook, reddit and forums don't seem that big, yet there must be a much bigger market of unaware people. 

How could we tackle this as a group of e-ink enthousiats?
