I'm Not a Watch Guy I Swear - Street x Sprezza
My small collection was all 40mm or 42mm. A couple of years back I decided I wanted to take a slight step up from my $125 Orient automatics. I purchased a 42mm Hamilton Khaki Field and it just didn't feel right. I loved the aesthetic of it but I couldn't pinpoint what was wrong so I reluctantly returned it a few days later.
[Affordables] Help me reduce the collection
The Hamilton Khaki Field (42mm) is the one everyone tells me to love, but I have to admit I like the pilot better, even though it is a quartz. Maybe it is the lug to lug length, the field wears huge but flat. Brilliant classic field watch, though ...

When I first got interested in watches a few years ago I started with a single Hamilton Khaki Field which I wore for half a year until a hip height fall shattered the sapphire. Since repairing it would cost more than the watch itself I decided to look for another watch and this time went to the forums to find a used piece.
This is the first automatic watch I’ve purchased and have loved everything about it. In my opinion the case is the perfect size for the average wrist, it isn’t too heavy or thick, and the strap is becoming much more supple each day. So far the movement has been very accurate and I haven’t had any is...
