I'm Not a Watch Guy I Swear - Street x Sprezza
My small collection was all 40mm or 42mm. A couple of years back I decided I wanted to take a slight step up from my $125 Orient automatics. I purchased a 42mm Hamilton Khaki Field and it just didn't feel right. I loved the aesthetic of it but I couldn't pinpoint what was wrong so I reluctantly returned it a few days later.
[Affordables] Help me reduce the collection
The Hamilton Khaki Field (42mm) is the one everyone tells me to love, but I have to admit I like the pilot better, even though it is a quartz. Maybe it is the lug to lug length, the field wears huge but flat. Brilliant classic field watch, though ...

Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical Review: Is It Worth the Price?
Even at retail, I’d argue that there’s still great value in this watch.

Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 2022 Review - 12&60
I think that if Hamilton had opted to give the Khaki Field Mechanical an anti-reflective coating, or a different crystal, then it would have just taken the watch up a notch. Comparing these two side by side, the annoying reflections of the Khaki Field Mechanical are obvious. Final Thoughts

Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical - Six months Later
So, this is just an initial review of the Hamilton Mechanical Khaki as far as initial impressions. I've just unboxed the watch, wound and set it. It's extremely light on the wrist and the 47mm lugs will not be an issue unless you have tiny wrists. The sapphire crystal is a very nice touch in such a ...

[SOTC] My 'four'arantine watches. How many pieces do you have in your collection?
When I first got interested in watches a few years ago I started with a single Hamilton Khaki Field which I wore for half a year until a hip height fall shattered the sapphire. Since repairing it would cost more than the watch itself I decided to look for another watch and this time went to the forums to find a used piece.

Awesome
This is the first automatic watch I’ve purchased and have loved everything about it. In my opinion the case is the perfect size for the average wrist, it isn’t too heavy or thick, and the strap is becoming much more supple each day. So far the movement has been very accurate and I haven’t had any is...

[Hamilton] Khaki Field Mechanical
The Hamilton Khaki Field. I love how thin the hand wind version is and the stock strap color. Nothing flashy but great quality and a classic look.
