 You know crispy, they are and see how they taste. So the waffles came out really no batter was stuck to the pan. There is some steam right here, I'm not sure. That'S just from the moisture when the waffle is cooked, and here are the waffles, nice and crispy on both sides

 So I'm just gon na even this out, it's taking a lot of waffle batter, so I'm gon na go ahead and scrape the bowl and put it back at me. So I ended up putting about two cups of batter into the Hamilton Beach waffle maker, which is quite a lot. I'M gon na open it up and take a look wow, those cooked pretty fast. It only been about three minutes and they're already nice and golden brown and crispy lots of steam coming out of the waffle maker still, which means that the pigs are really hot and I'm gon na go ahead and take the waffles out and give them a cut

 It'S nice because it's compact, I can close it up. Hi everyone, its Amanda from waffle makers, hub calm. Today we are doing another waffle maker review and we are going to be checking out the Hamilton Beach waffle maker. This is a nonstick waffle maker that makes four waffles at once, and it is a Belgian style which means that has those really thick deep plates and we are gon na give it a try plug it in see how it goes see how the waffles come out. If they're, nice and crispy or if it just doesn't match up so let's take a look alright, so I have taken the Hamilton Beach waffle maker out of the box, and one thing I wanted to note is that it's really heavy, so it feels pretty sturdy and Durable a lot heavier than other waffle makers, I plugged it in and the power light came on right away and it's been a few minutes

I wanted an inexpensive large waffle maker to make four waffles at a time. This seemed to be a decent price but it also had mixed reviews. Well, I should have gone with a different brand. I thought some reviewers had been unlucky with their unevenly cooked waffles

 But they stuck like crazy! So I scraped them out and sprayed a heavy duty amount of non stick again and luckily, they didn’t stick this time. However…I noticed a circle in the center and realized they were cooking unevenly. The inside unit was also making popping sounds. I had to open the waffle maker before the ready light was lit, because it was over cooking them as well

I have 6 of us in the house so I really wanted a waffle maker with 4 squares to help quicken the process so everyone could eat fresh waffles within a decent amount of time. I used the Bisquick recipe so I could have a good test waffle on any of the waffle makers we ordered. The set up was simple, just plug in after cleaned and greased, wait for the “ready” light to pop on and let ‘er rip. Easy PeeZee The cooking element is obviously shaped like a circle because that’s how they cook

 The center is lighter than middle radius (which cook quickly) and the outside edges are under done. Clean up isn’t as easy as set up, even well grease due to batter getting cooked into the creases. I had to get a toothpick to clean it all out —with a machine you’re not supposed to get all that wet — to clean it properly. So overall, I’ll be returning but if your budget is about this and you can be okay with inconsistent cooking times and surface areas then you can make due with this

Okay. So is it terrible? No. It’s alright.

  Ok, fine, I have only had this for one week, so cannot attest to the long term quality. But I have used this waffle maker every day so far and my family loves it. Even baking (not sure why other comments said otherwise). I did regular waffles, chocolate chip waffles, cranberry waffles, banana waffles and even the waffles when you put nutella between two sheets of puff pastry dough, cut into four squares and cook them in the waffle maker

 On the plus side, even though this one doesn't have removable plates, it is easy to clean, doesn't weigh a lot, and is easy to store upright.

 It is no where near as good as my smaller one. Heat distribution is not great, the middle of the iron gets much hotter, resulting in uneven waffles. In addition, these come out thinner than my smaller model. I have used it so I'll keep it, but will rely on my smaller one unless we have a crowd for breakfast

 I wipe it down while it is still hot with a thick, damp cloth and the remains of cooked batter come off pretty easily. I am able to "detail" it between the little squares once the iron has cooled down. I like it very much.

I do like this waffle iron although I found it to cook somewhat unevenly. The centers of the grates cooked faster than the outside edges. I simply left them on a little longer and some areas were crispier than others. All in all, a good value for the money
