It works great in 3-season Colorado where the temperatures are rather predictable. Thermarest Neoair Xlite Women's -> Exped Synmat HL MW. I was tired of the crinkly noise and limited width of the neoair, so I jumped to exped for the vertical baffles and extra width! Definitely heavier and less warm, but it's way more comfortable IMO.

My wife and I sleep on this one while camping. High R value of 5, no problem keeping warm in most conditions.

For years, I've used a Thermarest Xlite for 3 season, and an Xtherm for winter, but had recently bought an Exped Megamat Duo for campground use, and a Synmat HL Duo for when I backpack with a gf and really liked both of them, so ended up getting a Synmat HL MW for myself. To me, they are more comfortable with the long baffles, and the material next to your skin, quieter, and they inflate / deflate easier than my thermarest pads (they both have the older valves).
