Heavy, compact, quiet and affordable and awesome
I love this thing. Here's my assessment: The awesomeness: 1) The first thing I noticed is how heavy this grinder is. I expected the housing to be a thin metal skin, but it feels like a SOLID chunk of metal. It's heavier than the Gaggia Classic Pro espresso machine it sits next too even though it's h...

Excellent grinder
excellent grinder. It looks and feels very robust and very easy to use. At first it takes a while to get to the exact point of grinding, so I suggest using a very cheap coffee to practice. Simple but very effective design, it also looks elegant and makes a perfect match with my Rancilio. Only after ...

Amazing and worth the money
I was hesitant about spending $250 on a coffee grinder for my home. I love this. I am able to grind right into the basket for my Moccamaster and that saves moving the grinds and making a mess. Took a couple of tries to figure out how many seconds to fill the basket to the proper amount. 7 on the gag...

Not great value
I've been using this grinder almost every day for about 6 months now. It's a good burr grinder, but my complaint is that I could produce equivalent grind quality with another grinder a third of the price. This is surprising since I've always been impressed with Eurueka's grinders, including my Atom ...

Eureka Mignon Specialita Review: Mini Grinder with Big Potential | The Coffee Chronicler
CONCLUSION: Eureka Mignon Specialita Review I think that the Eureka Mignon Specialita is probably the ideal espresso grinder for most people. I’m saying most people because there will be some who want a dedicated single dose grinder, and for those people, it probably doesn’t make sense to pay extra for the weight-based timing function. But for people who are not firmly in one camp or the other, this one just ticks all the boxes

I just pulled my first shot with Eureka Mignon Specialita + Gaggia Pro Classic after using shitty grinder for a while, and IT’S EYE OPENING. I’m very far away from sophisticated coffee snob, so couldn’t imagine that I could taste such a huge difference with the same type of coffee but only changing the grinder.

Great grinder for home espresso set up
Eureka Mignon Specialita is, basically, one of the most popular grinders for espresso home set ups. Mine is paired with Profitec 600, and the duo works like a charm. With a minimal mods can be used for single dosing, if that's your thing.
